Kristina Horner (italktosnakes)

I'm pretty interested in the new project she is collaborating on (Job Hunters). I'm so glad she's found other, non-musical projects to work on since she developed those vocal nodes.

Anyone else planning to watch that series when it launches?

Very cool Project for Awesome charity. I love that she's so into giving back to her community.



I do have to wonder about her decision to not relocate to LA - did her break up with Luke change her mind about relocating, *or* did the fact she decided not to relocate cause the break up? (Yes, I know, not really any of our business - but this *is* a gossip forum after all!).

I am amused that you started a thread about Kristina, and have a video by Luke and Ingrid in your signature.

I'm sure the break up had something to do with it, but she does have a fair amount of other friends out there too. I would imagine her vocal nodes were probably a factor, too, considering she can't be working on her music right now. She also mentioned in a video that she felt she had to go because of all of the other Youtubers headed there, but she's glad she stayed.

Well if you see where I do most of my posting, it's in the Missglamorazzi thread. But just because I am enjoying Luke and Ingrid, doesn't mean I stop liking Kristina.

That's the thing - she hasn't said (and she has no reason to say publicly) why she and Luke broke up. However, since they haven't explained why, it leaves it open to interpretation.

I actually have been wondering a lot about Luke and Kristina's breakup. She cancelled tour right after they supposedly broke up, and I know she said it was because of her vocal nodes... But it's just such a big coincidence that everything ALL CAPS ends right after they break up.

Also, whenever she talks about her choice not to move to L.A. she sounds really bitter about something. She keeps saying, "I'm SOOO glad I didn't move to L.A. because that would have been STUPID of me and I'm just SO happy I didn't do it" and I wonder if maybe Luke is the one who broke up with her and she feels moving to L.A. would have been a huge mistake for that reason. I remember when she took her two month trip to London and Alex broke up with her there, she felt really crappy because she was stuck in London basically by herself at that point.

Also, she had a Tumblr up for a little while where she answered peoples' questions... And any question about Luke or Ingrid she just sounded really bitter and sad. Yeah it does seem like it was a bad break-up. In her latest blog she refers to leaving a lot of "baggage" in 2011. I'm fairly sure a big part of that baggage is the break-up with Luke. You're probably right that he's the one who ended it, since he's seemed to be able to move on, while she's struggled with it.

I'm quite into Nerdfighteria, which is how I really started watching videos on YouTube, but I'm moving further and further away from the Nerdfighters I'm subscribed too (people like Kristina, Charlie, Alex, Kayley...) and the more I get into beauty gurus, the more I dislike Kristina. I don't know, there's something about her that's just really annoying. I sort of want to scream every time she mentions ponies. She is a grown woman.

I agree about the All Caps. She and Luke need to decide what to do with that. She can no longer sing, and they are no longer a couple, so it feels lame that they are still maintaining it. Maybe they should do one final video/vlog for the channel saying thanks for the support, this is the end.

I was the exact opposite. I found the beauty community and loved it for around a year but then it started getting boring and now i am drastically pulling away from since i found the vlogbrothers, Kristina, Alex etc...

Once it's "officially over" they risk losing the money they earn from the past songs they put on iTunes (which I guess must still be selling). Also they might be waiting to see of Kristina's vocal nodes get better. Just because they aren't a couple anymore doesn't mean they will never sing together again (ALL CAPS was formed 1-2 years before they started dating). Who knows what will happen?

Delete You was actually an old song written about Kristina's break up with Alex Day. She finally decided to make a music video for it despite the fact she can no longer sing (she just lip synched to the old vocal track). She and Luke broke up in 2010 according to Luke, and he's been dating Ingrid (Missglamorazzi on YouTube) since last June. You should check out Luke's vlogs to keep up with him (lukeconard2 and now luke).

Ah, see I didn't realize that. I thought they started ALL CAPS because they WERE dating.

I've always had a lot of respect for Kristina. She and the whole gang used to fuel my Harry Potter obsession for years and I definitely saw her relationship with Luke as TOTALLY AWESOME.
I still watch her, and I definitely still have a lot more respect for her than for Luke. Job Hunters is a great series and I hope she sticks with that for a while.

I feel like maybe the new interest in makeup has to do with her role on Job Hunters. Due to wearing makeup for the ex-star rich girl, she probably started having a genuine interest in it.

That's what I don't understand. Yea, she seemed a little more down and unlike herself when Ingrid started appearing EVERYWHERE (I mean, regardless that it wasn't Lingrid's intention, I'm sure it wasn't so nice to have it rubbed in her face that they were together when there hadn't been any actual announcement that they broke up), but she seems like she's back to being in a good place. I've been watching Kristina since just before they started 5AG. She has always come of really confidant and sure of herself. I can't imagine her suddenly wanting to change and been like the girlfriend of someone she hasn't been with in months. There are videos of her in the past wearing makeup, too. Maybe she just filmed before/after going somewhere compared to other times where maybe she is home all day? And Ingrid doesn't have a copyright on pink shirts. It's just silly.

Ingrid's style isn't unique--I've seen thousands of girls dress like her. That's what happens when you follow trends and have no personal style.

Anyway, Kristina seems like she has a fun personality, but can't sing at all. Her voice is so bland. I'm getting really sick of these horrible singers on youtube--just stick to vlogging people.
