09ladylazy...WTF IS HAPPENING TO YOUTUBE?

I don't want to "hate" on this girl because she is just a child, but seriously WTF is happening to youtube...and PARENTING these days?! This girl doesn't look a day over 7 or 8 years old...I played with freakin barbies until 7TH GRADE...I didn't even know what 'foundation' or 'concealer' was. I keep finding more and more CHILDREN, not even teens or preteens, making videos about beauty and makeup. I think the youtube beauty community is causing a really negative effect on younger and younger girls, making them think they need makeup and such at such a young age...when I was this girls age I didn't even think twice about my appearance, I didn't start caring about makeup or my looks until I was about 14. If girls this young feel the need to wear makeup to be 'beautiful', I will hate to see what they're like when they're 14 or 15.....
I feel like the beauty community is starting to give a really bad message to young girls like this, but I also think it's partially the parents fault for allowing such young girls to be wearing makeup...I would slap the makeup off my daughters face (if i had one) if she tried wearing foundation and sh!t when she was even 11 or 12.

What do you guys think about this?

Oh my goodness, I checked her out she's so young, way TOO young. I agree with you the "beauty community" is causing a really negative influence to a lot of young and incredibly impressionable girls. It's so sad...
Parents need to pay more attention to what their kids are doing.

Ugh, tell me about it! It's like why the hell are they making videos when they know nothing about makeup, how to apply it, or even fashion. It's really pointless because nobody is going to take advice from someone that has much less talent than them and that is half their age. I really think youtube should monitor kids like this posting videos and delete their channels or something. first of all, it's not smart or safe for such young little girls to be posting videos of themselves. and secondly, what you put on the internet will be on the internet forever - they are only embarrassing themselves haha sorry for ranting but these CHILDREN making "beauty" videos really irk me.

I agree with y'all. I don't understand how parents can let children post videos of themselves on the internet. Do they not know how incredibly dangerous the world is because of the huge amount of creeps out there?? When I was young (14-15), I wasn't even allow to give my real name to people on chat rooms (that was when everybody was rocking dial up by the way)

It's not cute, it's not endearing, it doesn't make me go all "awww, look at that little girl playing with the expensive makeup she wanted from Sephora and mommy and daddy bought for her!!!" Like that little girl Madison. All I want to do is bitch slap those parents.

I mean, why is a small child sitting in a room, talking about swatches and foundation matches in front of a camera instead of playing with toys or other kids?? They don't even fully understand what they're talking about!

WOW, here mom is a crazy-psychotic beast! You can tell that her mom is the one forcing her to do all these videos and it's completely scripted.
I feel for the little girl because she's only like 6? 7? years old.

This one particular video on making a "princess face" you can clearly see she is not in the mood to film and is pouting/frowning all the way while her mom is standing over her probably ordering her to do this and that.

In the comments section someone said "She doesn't look very happy and seems like she hates doing this..."
Her mom replied: "Lady was feeling a little sick and tired today but I assure you she loves it!"

Um, WHY are you filming and forcing a SICK CHILD to do a tutorial? CRAZY MUCH?

Parents need to go back to "Parenting 101" because THIS is messed up.

I think beauty guru's should do tutorials for younger children so they don't feel the need to buy all the fancy stuff asap and plaster it all on. Even if they do it on themselves.

I can't get over her. That girl is so young. And you know the mom is just doing it to make her famous/meet celebs. She met Dita von Tease once and I was wondering how or WHY she even knows who she is. Little kids on youtube trying to be gurus just weirds me out

There is no way that this kid needs anything at Sephora, let alone as many products as could fit into that giant bag she showed in her Sephora Haul video. Also, her how to paint toenails video is creepy. No one wants to see your feet. Eww.

I had to read this topic after seeing the title and then I had to go check out this girl's page to see what the fuss was about. OMG! I was shocked first off that anyone would allow such a young child post make up videos, kids that age should have a bottle a of clear nail polish and a tube of LipSmackers not doing Sephora hauls. Then as looked though the rest of her vids, their is one of her in the shower. I don't know if she's in underwear or bathing suit bottoms but either is completely inappropriate. Their are so many disgusting perverts in this world and most of them are online and someone's actually letting their kid post videos like that is revolting. I just checked her channel, her channel is still there but apparently she deleted or privated all of her videos. thank god! maybe her parents found her channel or maybe she found this forum and realized she is just embarrassing herself

whats even worse is that a lot of the children can do makeup better than the teens

Nothing makes me angier then a parent who plasters their kid on YouTube making them do ridiculous things for cash, free products and fame. It's happening far, far, far too much.


I went to the channel and even though videos are gone her mom (I use the term loosely) is continuing to use it. Liking and commenting on videos, they are not likes and comments of a little child. It's obvious it's an adult. Hers is the youngest child I have seen used as a makeup guru. I am extremely glad she was called out and the videos gone.

Listen all you dim wit parents who do this. We are not gushing over your poor kid while you force them sick and grumpy to do a damn makeup tutorial. We know your little kid doesn't make money on her own for huge Sephora hauls. They can't drive themselves to the mall. They also can't video tape, edit and upload onto YouTube properly. How stupid do you think we would are? You are appalling. Find yourself another hobby. One that doesn't include using your little girls.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one thatnis horrified by these little girls doing makeup :/. I thought I was going crazy...

I was starting to get worried too -- ii see way too many little kids talking about concealers and foundation routines lol ii started doing makeup when ii was around 15-16 --- plus it cannot be too good for their young skin to be exposed to massive amounts of makeup
