Filming their reality show

I was at the meet up today, mainly just to check it out and see if anyone was going to give them 9/11 hate in real life. I was there for a fashion show anyway so it wasn't like I went out of my way to meet them. BUT they did have 3 cameras on them the entire time, following them around and going in the back with them when they went back there, and everyone in line was sure they were for their reality show. I asked one of the women there (a Teen Vogue girl I think) and she confirmed that it was for their show.

They were nice though, I will give them that. And they spent time talking to the hundreds of people that showed up, they didn't blow anyone off.

Thoughts on the show?

I thought that by now that thing would be dead...and even if it is happening I bet that it will be an online show like "Genuine Ken". They have hundreds of thousands of subscribers, but hundreds of thousands of views per episode of a tv show is NOTHING, especially when shows like "Jersey Shore" average in the millions.

Well obviously, they want to act "nice" on tv.
On the other hand, the reality tv rumor is confirmed :/
Its just...odd to think about them having a tv show now

Well I figured it was already confirmed, and that was why Blair couldn't be in anyone else's videos. Their show is going to so stupid. xP I'm assuming it will end up on the Style Network or something...

Guise...don't hate me. I'm actually kinda looking forward to this show. Obviously not because I'm a fan, but because I'm genuinely curious about what goes on in their daily life. I'm hoping that they'll be themselves.

Of course, we all know how EVERYTHING in these reality tv shows is SO authentic and not at all scripted.

It's gonna be so boring. All they do (Well all Elle really does) is stare at the walls and play with her pussy (Pinecone, duh!). That's real exciting to film.

Their life would be them saying ditzy things, and sitting in front of a camera, putting on makeup. You can't base a TV show off of that. The producers will be telling them to say/do certain things to cause conflict. Maybe a ditzy argument between Elle and Blair. Or dealing with the haters online.... Laughing

Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't end up on TLC. They have that horridly scripted "DC Cupcakes" show though so I'm thinking it could. Hopefully it'll be on some random station. Or even better would not getting picked up at all! Seriously, I'm having trouble figuring out what their show could be about... Suspect

Them going shopping? Working out? Elle talking to her camera? Her cat? Blair singing in the bathtub? They don't DO anything remotely interesting.

Haha the only reality show these girls need to appear on is True Life: I'm a Shopaholic. And honestly I doubt anyone would watch it unless it was an online reality show - they should stick to pushing overpriced skin products because they're not interesting enough to watch. I don't mean that in a bad way either - I mean most of our lives would be boring to watch day-to-day. Remember when Elle posted her "busy" schedule?

Most reality shows these days are based off of getting drunk and fighting (Jersey Shore, Bad Girls Club, Real World, Jerseylicious, etc.), and most shows that don't contain violent, drunken fights don't get picked up now. Lauren Conrad for example... She had filmed a reality show about the world of fashion, and then it never premiered because it wasn't dramatic enough. So either Elle and Blair's show will never premiere, or there will be some crazy scripted drama.

Oh no. That means her Blair's screechy voice will be on TV now? Noooo! As fast and screechy as she talks, and 1/2 hour show will only take 10 minutes.. heh, if only we were that lucky.

I'm actually intrigued. I'm hoping it gets picked up simply so we can see what it looks like, then watch as it crashes and burns, proving once and for all that Elle and Blair are nobodies in the real world.

Internet success =/= real world success. They may have money, but they certainly will never be huge celebrities.

Well, that's not always true. Look at Justin Bieber... He was discovered on YouTube. But he's a singer. It's not like some girls who do makeup on YouTube (and aren't even good at it) are going to blow up in Hollywood.

YOU DONT NEED TO READ THIS PART:
I just found a cricket in my bathroom so I went at it with a hairspray bottle. I managed to cut the damn thing in half. Both of the halves then proceeded to jump around my bathroom. It was quite possibly the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. OFF TOPIC but I needed to vent.
