Sponsor me, my name is Elle... A Million Dollar Perfume Bottle?
Another sponsored video..
And well her disclaimer is so ridiculous... Is she really thinking, that people are so stupid..? I used to like DKNY but, this one no way.
I mean, what else she will try to promote? And I am so disappointed with some companies, giving her things to promote - very very bad PR/ promotion.

I don't even think she's really into the scent anyways (the orginal or the Golden Apple one). I don't think she's ever had it in a favorite video and she didn't seem too into it in her pefume collection video as she was with her other scents. I love how she words things in her FTC like "I'm working with DKNY" instead of "I'm being paid/sponsered". Whatever, the Golden Apple one smells horrible anyways. (In my opinion)

I'm sorry... but i guess I just don't understand why you would use Elle Fowler to promote something that involves a million dollar perfume bottle, I mean if you really wanted to get it out there you would start it off with someone more "Known" right? Not just a 23 year old girl that sits in her bedroom talking to the camera....

i didnt get that either. unless DKNY's target audience is the tween/teen age, no one else is going to watch her video.
i'm not too bothered that it's sponsored because its known that all they do now-a-days is sponsored videos. What bothered me is her saying "i have a lot of perfumes that smell great when you first put them on but they either fade or change scent throughout the day"
i'm not sure if she's aware that's what the top/middle/base notes of a perfume are, the top fades off into the middle notes, then the middle notes fade into the base notes and that's the scent you're left with for the rest of the day/night. so yes, your perfume scent will change throughout the day.

Neither do I. She is promoting cell phone accessories, some glizy s... and other rubbish, so why massive company would hire her? For me it is just a massive scar on company image..

She doesn't know how to describe scents at all. I think she realizes she's completely inept when it comes to that sort of thing, because she used to do hauls and just say "mmm... this one smells good" or "this is Honey I Washed The Kids Soap... it smells... like honey." Now she just reads off the description because she knows she doesn't have anything else to say.
Anyway, it doesn't look like she's used much of that perfume. I know she has a lot of scents to choose from, but I switch mine up quite often, and it's pretty obvious which ones are my favorite based on how much I've used. I doubt she ever wears it.

I don't understand. DKNY has the money to make that bottle, but can't find an actual celebrity to promote it? How do they expect to reach consumers through ELLE? If they wanted to use a blogger, there are more well known ones who actually know what they're talking about with regards to fashion/makeup/hair etc. Even Blair has a bigger audience than Elle. It just seems SO weird to me, what were they thinking? Have they not noticed that Elle's sponsored videos gets a negative reaction?

Haha, this is ridiculous. I can't believe they chose Elle to sponsor it. I feel like someone can easily just steal that from her house lmao. Also, did anyone else notice how many dislikes there were on this video?

I wondered the exact same thing. I can understand them maybe using a vlogger like Michelle Phan, considering that she has millions of subscribers, but Elle? I guess it's because companies are looking for the cheapest form of advertising these days. They could pay Gwyneth or Angelina, but they would probably want the big bucks. I don't know about you guys, but the whole time that Elle was going on about that "million dollar bottle", I was praying for her ass to drop it

I know! what heck is wrong with a lot of the companies. dont they see that they are letting the 2 most spoiled girls who never had to work a day in their lives just like the rest of us be the face of their companies! that is what i call unreliable and not trustworthy.

Lol @the correcting. x) Elle and Blair (or their fans..) would probably counter that by saying 'GlitzyGlam' was their job. >.>

Re: Sponsor me, my name is Elle... A Million Dollar Perfume Bottle?
I get why they chose a youtube personality to sponsor the product because Angelina can't walk around with a million dollar bottle and advertise a scent. Sure she can do a photo shoot in a magazine but people would only look at Angelina, see DKNY and turn the page. They wanted someone with a large audience who can explain their project and people would listen and buy into it. But I agree, why Elle? Yes she is more...mature
than Blair and more appropriate for business things but other people have more viewers. "It's going to start off in my bedroom and then be sent to China and..." It just seemed weird. Like something an heiress should get the honor, not an ordinary girl. And if the point of designing the bottle (which will serve absolutely no purpose in life) is to raise money for a cause- dude, JUST DONATE THAT MILLION TO THE CAUSE. It's all about recognition with companies

Re: Sponsor me, my name is Elle... A Million Dollar Perfume Bottle?
No one on youtube knows how to describe perfumes except that lady that only does perfume reviews..can't remember her name, but someone here will know what I am talking about.
As far as the million dollar perfume...the entire "review" if you can call it that feels like her reading off a screen. Bah, I only watch her videos so that I know what people are talking about on this forum, she doesn't interest me at all. I totally get the stepford wives feel from her... like someone said here earlier.

2:30 funny enough, i actually wasn't wondering at all what the surprise unveiling would be, considering the video title... imagine that.

did anyone else notice that starting at around 3:25, she holds the bottle next to her face, then looks at it, holds it next to her face, then looks at it- over and over again?

Elle you're such a great public speaker! That description was so well said/read, and it didn't sound stage, which is the most important thing..

Btw - You incorrectly used "ironic", as most people do. It bothers me very much. I that situation the appropriate word would've been "coincident" in one of its forms.

Using gold on a perfume bottle? Really? We're already running low on gold (check the prices) and a golden perfume bottle is just utterly ridiculous.
