That is just downright rude. Making fun of someone's appearance? How low can you get. If you're going to insult people in that way then I'd like to see you do better. There's plenty I could say about you but I don't like making fun of people's appearances.

As a close friend of Lili's I can say she is as genuine as you could get. She is talented and in my opinion far more talented than her sister. She's on a full ride scholarship at a medical school, fantastic at art and beauty of course. AND she pays for all her own stuff which is pretty incredible seeing that a lot of people have their parents buy them everything. People shouldn't judge so harshly when they know absolutely nothing.

I can't believe how rude she is to her subscribers. I've been subbed to her for 8 months and yesterday was the VERY FIRST TIME I had EVER messaged her and asked her about her camera and guess what? She completely bitched me out!


My message to her:

Hi there! :-) I love your tutorials and find them very helpful! I just wanted to know what type of camera you were using for your tutorials? The colors look great and they make you look flawless:-D


It was a very un-harmful message and I don't think I was over stepping any grounds(?) I thought I was being very polite.

I've told everyone about 2 million times what type of camera I use, maybe if you watched my tutorials you would know the answer to this one. Sorry but your message comes off as being rude. I constantly ask her ?'s about everything and she's never told me I was annoying and she always be patient and kind to me.
I wish I could meet her one day, unlike other gurus I've subscribbed to, she actually committed to college, shes a full time Biology student and plans to be a doctor one day. If you follow her on twitter or tumblur, you would know she gave up her fall break to help educate native american students abotu college and scholarships. if you read the messeges she gets from her tumblr followers, you would know.

Honestly speaking, I don't know if I could take this girl seriously as my doctor.. I mean, yeah everyone should follow their dreams and etc, but it just doesn't seem to me like she has the right MINDSET for going to medical school in the first place. Is it really her dream or her parents' dream? I'm not being stereotypical and saying that her parents forced her to study biology, but it is suggested by all the artwork in her room that she's more of a creative/artistic type, hence her love of fashion.

Med school is competitive and TOUGH to get into, so you have to be at the top of the game, both in your grades and your mental stability. Not only do I feel that this girl spends more time planning OOTD's and shopping rather than studying her books, but her personality is so sickly cute and helplessly feminine that I can't picture her as an independent career woman diagnosing patients on a daily basis.

Syd and saramonster are the same person, so don't bother reading her BS emails about Asian gurus. Lili is very kind and answers every question I have so far.

^ I just have to disagree with you. Even though they say that a medical student cannot be an artist at the same time, I find a lot of people around me pursuing both. Most Asian parents want their kids to be in medical field while they actually have an artistic side.
My doctor that I worked for is very girly and she always wears dresses, but she is also an independent and good doctor. Just because they are into fashion doesn't mean they are not smart or good enough to be a doctor.

I apologize for the rather emphatic language but how the @#$%^ can you guys judge someone when you truly know nothing about them. You girls are so dogmatic but while i'm here let me liquidate the issue by telling you exactly how wrong your immature and litigious accusations are.

Lili graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and received a full ride scholarship to a private college. It is HER dream, not her parents to go into the medical field. She DOES not spend all her time making videos, if you would've looked instead of speaking out of your ass you would see she only makes videos during the summer and breaks or whenever she has free time. We used to work at the same place and she would take off work ALL the time to focus on her studies. Yes, Lili is very artistic, she loves art and fashion but how the @#$%^ does that make any less capable of achieving success academically. Lili is not 'sickly sweet' as you suggest. She just comes off that way in her videos and she's way more independent than most girls her age. Lili is def a go getter and I've always envied her for that.
