And this is probably one of the reasons they have problems. Because Justin doesn't feel the need to have their date recorded for all her preteen viewers.

I'm sorry but honestly long relationships usually turn into just sitting around hanging out at eachothers houses so especially since theyre only 15 and 16 i think its better that they go out and do shit rather then sit home all day. i mean i would love if my boyfriend of 4 years took me out more often and did stuff like they do so i think it's great that they go out and do fun things.

I'm more of a stay in kind of girl, as is my guy. So maybe that makes the difference. We aren't parties by any means, so we don't go to parties or clubs or anything like that. We do however get dressed up for dinner every once in awhile, go to the zoo, hiking, swimming, occasionally concerts or comedy shows, etc.-but more often we're at home. Even when we first started dating (I was 17, he was 19) that's more of what we did. 4 years later, we're pretty much the same.
But, it might just be our personalities.

i mean thats how we are too but for being as young as megan is i think she's sending a better message out to her young viewers of how a relationship should be because if she showed them sitting around their houses all day well...i think people would get the wrong idea if you know what i mean. i think if girls see her going out they're going to want their relationships to be like that and there should be nothing wrong for girls to expect a guy to take her on a date especially when they first start dating.

Yeah, I think having a "date night" video was a little too personal. Before the break up, they started doing a summer date series, to help people with ideas for going on dates, but I think Megan took that video down. If anyone needs an idea for a date, they can just look it up online rather than watch Megan's "amazing life". I'm sure Justin wouldn't appreciate Megan's camera following him around on their dates all summer.

I actually like their date, it was pretty original the whole boat an the dinner on the river. Staying at home is boring, all you are just jealous your boyfriend doesn't take you out. Seriously staying at home playing video games....Board games I can understand but video games might as well be just be one of the guys.

It also helps if you and you date has common interests
-tennis matches, doubles tennis
-create a follow me around video of a big city eg. New York

For one, we all don't have the money to go out all the time, so staying at home is perfectly fine. "Video games might as well just be one of the guys"? Some girls are interested in games too. Sexist comment much?

"You all are just jealous that your boyfriend doesn't take you out". It's all about what people's interests are. If a couple doesn't like to go out all the time, then they won't. I don't have a boyfriend, but I am dating someone, and yes we do go out, but not all the time. No I am not jealous of Megan's life.

Also, what does "creating a follow me around video of a big city" have to do with common interests? What if we don't live in a big city, like myself?

I think their date seemed quite nice.

Like many others on here, my boyfriend and I are the type of people who prefer to stay in...cuddle in comfy clothes watching movies, playing on the PS3 etc etc, we're not party people at all, but it's a nice little change when we go out for dates every little while, whether it be somewhere fancy or something as simple as going our for ice cream.

Like I said, their date seemed 'fun' to say the least.
