Hello!
Last year meekakitty entered the Lash Allure contest, where she won 100,000 dollars (video). She said that she will use that money to pay for college since she couldn't afford it. I subscribed to her channel by the time she won and have been following her twitter account but I have no idea if she did enter college. I remember that during last summer she was tweeting about acceptance letters, but that was it. Did she scammed her users and did not go to college at all and is just spending her money? I don't know anything about this, that is why I'm asking if anyone else has any knowledge.

She's in college, she moved to California, I believe she's studying film.

I used to LOVE her older videos, when she just did funny vlogs and lived in her old house...I don't find her newer, more edited videos nearly as enjoyable

yes, I am considering unsubscribing because her videos are getting lamer and lamer. And what's up with her music videos? I find those VERY annoying (and embarrassing), they are crap! Besides her voice is very auto-tuned/edited, and the videos are just silly. I think she does them to sell the songs on iTunes? Ugh, seems like all youtubers are money hungry now...

I don't think her heart is in vlogging anymore, it just seems like she does it because she's a partner and it gives her extra cash. I'm not saying that because she's partner she sucks, she's been partner FOREVER and she was fun. It feels like she's not having fun anymore, that it's a job rather than something genuinely liked doing.
And the music videos are just garbage

i used to really love tessa, she was very quirky, nerdy and funny, her vlogs were very random
but now she doesn't even vlog that often, i understand she is in college and what not
but she spends so much time editing her videos, and her older videos are so much better
also she should stop with those music videos... bitch can't sing nor write songs to save her life.. she is so autoned
and should shut up about saying she hanged out with luke, meghan and company, does she even have friends outside of YT?

I used to really like her, she was like a breath of fresh air because she was so openly nerdy and random! But then I started to get sick of the constant "blahh.. nyahh.. blerghh" stuff that she does, it's like she can't think of anything to say so she just edits in a bunch of random noises and poses? I haven't even bothered with any of her newer stuff, and haven't watched her in months. I'm still subscribed, I just don't watch anymore.

Since my early YouTubing days I've always loved Meeka. I think she has a much better disposition than most other YT-ers. With others, their YouTube fame goes to their heads and they end up acting like wankers. Meeka still seems pretty casual and fun-loving, and proiud of her nerdiness. I do think her vids are boring now though.

I still go back and watch her old vids because I love her random humor and kooky personality. Her new vids are not nearly as bad as RWJ's (he thinks he's some LA badass now... have you seen his vlog channel? What's with the try-hard gangsta music, and trying to act all "LA-celebrity-stylez"? Gah. Meeka isn't that bad, but still I think she's changed since moving to Cali. Her heart isn't in it. It's true. It seems to be a chore for her.

Is she in a new Best Buy tv commercial?

She doesn't edit her videos, it is done by a company who do work for a lot of people such as her boyfriend Ray William Johnson (yeah, the guy who heavily promoted her to win that $100,000. Of course he didn't tell you he was seeing her).

I used to like her but her recent efforts are terrible and it has all become so fake and manufactured. This is happening to a lot of bigger Youtubers who join up with production companies.

I really miss the old MeekaKitty. I felt I could relate to her a lot more. Now she posts crappy music videos, that are actually pretty awkward.

They start off relateable because they don't have money or "internet fame" and THAT'S why they get famous.
then they get money.. & do things that "well-known" (online) people with lots of money do & they're not relateable anymore.
& not fun anymore.

I always feel uncomfortable watching her music and lypsinc videos... They're just so awkward. I'm thinking about unsubscribing, too. Her videos just don't catch my interest at all anymore.

She's living in LA now and is a huge bitch which is sad because i used to like watching her vids. She's working with Makers Studios (aka The Station) and just shot this Harry Potter music video that I helped work on. She relied on everyone else to do the work while she just sat there. Its going on her channel and the bitch did nothing for the video.

I cannot STAND this girl. I am a nerd and I love games and anime but the way she talks about those sorts of things just make me feel embarassed for her. There is a level of nerdiness that I can't stand listening to.

Also, those random noises she bursts out with every time there's a silence... ugh. Can't stand it.

You people really need to go somewhere and buy a clue. How could you possibly legitimize a statement like "...her old vids where better...in her old house" What???? Were they better because she was sitting in her dirty assed room, and using a crappy 640 x 480 webcam???? Her videos are polished now, practically professional. She has developed a sense of style within the whole vloging format/process that sets her apart and creates a more well rounded online persona. The girl is good. Statements that refer to the making of the Harry Potter video, and how she "didn't do anything for the video" are inane, and obviously coming from someone who must need more attention in their own life. It represents a level insecurity that's very common amongst the "know nothing/do nothing crowd". The Harry Potter video was HER idea!! She is an IDEA person, goofball. The energy for the entire project started with Tessa. She was smart enough to know how to find the people who knew how to do all the things that she could not; and savvy enough to get them to do it for her. Just because you where a "gofer" on set and felt unappreciated, or maybe your mother didn't hug you when you where a child, OR you are afraid that you will never be as popular as her if you ever TRIED to make a video on YT; Whatever IT is... Don't hate the playa, hate the GAME.
