The interviewer in this video also name drops the Tennessee thing too.

I can't see anything wrong with them not wanting people to know where they live :/ don't want creepers at their front door? And now they are honest and someone still has something to say about it! I dunno, I have a problem with a lot of the things they do but keeping where they live secret is not one of them.

It's just like everything they do though... they don't really care about it getting out. If I'm correct, an article or Good Morning America was the first time people really found out they're from Tennessee, but they remained secretive about it even though that information was now out there. They just won't admit to anything themselves. Same with their last names, their reality show, Blair's book deal, the cell phone thing. All things people have found out legitimately through articles where the girls have talked about it themselves or let it be mentioned, but they won't come out and admit it to their subscribers until after the fact. Subscribers always have to find out from somewhere else first.

Who cares? There is nothing wrong with them wanting to hide where they are from, what their real names are or any projects they have in the works. Most celebrities change their names, not that they're celebs, but it's nothing new . Personally I think that Elle and Blair have a better ring to it then their real names. Also, so what if they were hiding their last names? I would not want just anyone on youtube to know my hometown, high school, full name or anything personal. Plus, they release information to the media first because they have an agent/publicist who controls all that stuff. If you watch Blair's video about the cell cases she wasn't even aloud to discuss the project until that day. i don't see anything wrong with these girls, they have a private life and make mistakes just like the rest of us. And honestly, I don't care about the nose jobs. It doesn't offend me that they did it or kept it a secret or anything it is their lives they don't owe us an explanation.
