Purple Promise: Birthday Present

This feels like a very generic repeat of other purple-themed looks that Michelle has put up. Like her purple disco chick vid, or one of her holiday "glam" vids.
And what makes it worse is that this is not a very appealing look as her chain headband flattens the top of her already bottom heavy, ovular face, and there is little to no contrast in her purple color. At some points, she looks like she just smeared a single shade of purple all around her eyeballs.

And for the finale... there's some guy playing the guitar for her in the background singing "This I promise You"
Huh.. doesn't she have a fiance?

I have to admit, she didn't look that bad in this one. The eye make up was subtle and so were the lips. Thoughts?

The guy you`re referring to is Richard Marx, the man has written great songs, like "Hazard", and "Right Here Waiting For You". He was huge at one moment in the beginning of `90 if I`m correct. And her make up was as usual....meh, nothing special....

Seems to come off as a huge "LOK @ ME I KNO FAMOUES PEOPLEZ" then a actual tutorial.

I can't believe she's get so many views. I learn NOTHING from her tutorials. Same in, same out.

i liked it. suprise at the end, it was nice.
she's really beautiful, and her videos are really relaxing.

I'm sick and tired of purple. I don't exactly have anything to hate on Michelle ,yet. However her videos are making me bored.

Her application was fine, but PURPLE again?!?!

And her reaction at the end of the video was kinda fake (emotional). *nodding her head* "Thanks, Richard." barfff

seriously? did you SEE her eyeliner?... i could barely see anything and what i COULD see of it was uneven!

That reaction in the end looked fake. Same old stuff, I wish she paid more attention to her lashes though, I know they are short and thin but alot of women can relate to that, I'm sure she can show us how to make them look nicer, but she just doesn't seem to care...too bad.

I personally did not find this look to be all that flattering not just on Michelle, but I get the feeling that it would look weird on anyone.
Seriously, is it just me? I know she used different shades of purple but it ended up looking like she just smeared medium purple all over her eyes. I didn't particularly learn anything from it either and the purple look is way overdone :/

Purple again? Seriously? And gold inner corners? I've seen that one before - in combination with purple!

And that's probably one of her worst makeup applications lately. It's a purple mess. Sloppy as hell. Looks like a single shade of purple was smeared over her eyelids. How's that flattering on anyone?

At least she didn't do a voice over. That was nice.

If it weren't for the nostalgic music this video would have been a disaster. The only redeeming quality was the music/guest appearance, it distracted me slightly from the crap tutorial.

Also the video seemed really washed out because I couldn't seen any of the actual makeup besides the purple. Anyone could make a crap tutorial like this. The only reason anyone watches Michelle is because of the presentation, which is crap too.

Sad a real musician has to utilize a fake wannabe make up artist to advertise.
