Prom Makeup video...

Did anyone else notice how freaking dark that foundation is that she is using? She showed to different colors and I was assuming she was going to use the lightest for all over then contour with the darker one (like she usually does) but she puts the darkest one all over her face and it is WAY to dark for her skin tone. Then she goes on to say "don't forget to blend down the neck b/c nothing looks worse than when someones face looks like a totally different color than their neck"... She should definitely take her own advice. Uhg.

Can someone post it here? I REFUSE to give her money by clicking on her videos and I don't know how to do it

It did look really dark. Such a heavy-handed look for teens.

I can't believe she used that one. I already said it in another thread, but seriously? L'Oreal True Match in W7?! And I was wrong before about the line going up to 7, it's actually 8. Either way, the color isn't even close.

All Kandee's makeup looks the same her prom makeup looks like her everyday makeup, and I think she's only so popular because she claims to be a celebrity makeup artist thats just a bunch of bull real CMUA are out actually doing celebrities makeup shes sitting on youtube doin her own makeup collecting gifts from 13 year olds, anyone can do makeup on their own face can we see her or some of these other gurus doin someone elses makeup besides their sister or mom? Knowing your own bone structure, foundation color, whether your skin is only or dry, eyebrow shape etc etc is easy but knowing and doin someone elses makeup is hard especially when kandee cant seem to get her own foundation color right. I'm not trying to be man but seriously she put herself on the chopping block claiming to be a celebrity makeup artist (if you are kandee no wonder you arent gettin any work) and she went and put her business out there so expect to get chop I could go on for hours but I wont 13 year olds are the best kinda fans their dedicated whether it be to Twilight or kandee

Also...She can post pics of celebrities far away but she can't post pics of poof she has ever worked on one...

I know its difficult to get the angle similar on both eyes but come on.. that is a very noticeable difference.

I saw that too. I'm like ??? name dropping much? Trying to look like she's important is more like it.

All her "prom" makeup looks are the same.

Look 1: black uneven winged eyeliner and BRIGHT pink lips
Look 2: same as Look 1, but with blue shadow added on top lid
Look 3: different lip gloss color and the usual Kandee smoky eye

I'm not jealous. I liked that my foundation matched my skin color at prom and I didn't have some crazy eyebrows up for my hairline.

Hi, guys! Long-time lurker here... finally decided to join! This is my first post, so be nice!

I had to get my two cents in on the video's comment section... just stating that the makeup application was sloppy, which you guys all know it was. Her foundation is way too dark for her skin. It's blotchy and not blended completely (typical... I mean, she's using her damn fingers). She admits to drawing her eyebrows on too dark and doesn't correct them. It looks to me like she redid the eyeliner off camera (because she messed it up, as usual). The eye shadow is not blended properly... it horrified me when she just packed on the lighter blue over the darker blue, which muddied the whole eye. This is like the fourth video in a row where she's had lipstick on her teeth. Also, her skin looks green in the introduction pictures.

Anyhow, I was attacked—not surprisingly—by her drones, saying the finished product was beautiful and that if I think it's bad I should do a better one, how Kandee is a beautiful person and I'm just jealous, etc. etc.

... I noticed she just kept STACKING on the makeup. Poor Kandee, why does she continue to do these things to herself?

It's so freaking annoying how she says "fun" EVERY OTHER WORD. Does she not know any other adjectives? ugh but she really does look very old in this video... i never noticed how deep her wrinkles were. granted, she does have a ton of children. her voice is super annoying and i never realized how sloppy she was

When I was watching her prom video I was literally CRINGING at the amount of foundation and concealer she was slathering on her face. Like there is a point where more doesn't help, it just leaves it to be a cakey mess in about 2 hours. So gross! Plus her Pink lip look was so 80s! Everything about her makeup is 80s and she uses SO MUCH product where it doesn't look good at all. Of course you need a good foundation for a prom night but that just means high coverage, not layering a bucket of foundation and concealer to create a mask effect.

am i the only one who noticed when she talked about the prom picture being embarassing her voice changed DRASTICALLY?

I was going crazy by how often she said "fun".....
Now I actually think that someone like Dulcecandy87 (not a MUA) has much better application techniques than Miss Hollywood MUA. Dulce's looks might be a bit too heavy, but at least they don't look sloppy. I could mention many other non professional MUA YT gurus though.
I appreciate that she decided to use drugstore products, but hmm, I can't believe she can't do better than that:/

Well, if her prom picture was embarrassing, I get it why she now tries to make other girls suffer with their own bad looking picture with uneven and wavy eyeliner. Her application is soooo rushed and sloppy (see her always hanging fake lashes, foundation application, the lipstick on her teeth, the muddy looking eyeshadow and Lord, I don't wanna go on). I get it, she has a child to take care of, but it seems her mother helps a lot. You are teaching young girls how to look glamourous for their night, at least take some time to give a good example. I did my own makeup for prom, without being and claiming to be fancy MUA and I did way better than her horrible attempt to give some proper advice.
P.S. the word 'fun' is just like the others - glitter, sparkles, cupcake. The woman needs a dictionary. I think this is what she has to put on the "wish list". It's something she needs... URGENTLY!

I don't see the point in doing a tutorial if you aren't going to do it well. Anybody can do sloppy eyeliner and get lipstick on their teeth. I would be too embarrassed to upload a video where my false lashes were hanging off and I had lipstick on my teeth, that's for sure. It was kind of stupid for her to get drugstore products that she'd never even used like that Revlon concealer. Wouldn't you make sure you at least recommended some drugstore products that you knew were actually good if the whole idea was to do a look for teenagers using drugstore makeup?

i notice her eyeliner is uneven in alot of her video's, not just this one. i didnt watch the video because i dont care to watch kandee's crap anymore, i did see the pictures of the 3 looks on her blog though. what's said is that alot of young girls are actually going to do there makeup like that for there prom

thats what really surprised me. you LOVE your fans so much yet you're going to recommend to them whatever random crap you happened to grab at the drugstore before you have even tried using it herself??? Yeah, that's definitely caring about these people.

It wasnt very recent. she was doing eyeliner and it was smudged and uneven and she said something like "dont worry if that happens, it looks better when its messy"

I wonder how real celebrities would feel about going around with smudged, uneven eye makeup?
