Two other youtubers who are similar to him (British boys in their late teens/early twenties) are AmazingPhil and Danisnotinteresting....just thought if you like charlie you might want to check those two out i find them a bit funnier than charlie.

i used to love charlie but like...his entire job is youtube and he rarely makes videos. its like, thats your entire job and you only do a video once every two weeks - month? what does he do with all of his time if he's not doing his only job (youtube)? i mean he could be writing songs and stuff but honestly he hasn't come out with a huge amount of songs lately anyway. i have no idea what he does with all of that time...it just kind of annoys me when youtubers dont do anything with their life but youtube. i mean, good for you for being successful but it makes you unrelatable and they definitely change and get noticeably lazier which is just not something i admire. i mean i still like charlie but i definitely dont sit around anxiously waiting for his videos to come out or anything.

i love danisnotonfire now the way i use to love charlie - except i definitely like him more than charlie simply because his content is funnier and more interesting. i feel like charlie's videos often don't have a point to them...or they are a "challenge charlie" which gets old fast.

definitely recommend danisnotonfire and amazingphil to those who like charlie but are growing tired of him/need something to do between his rare video posts!

I like Charlie, though I'm not a huge fan (the crazy fangirls have really put me off him). I agree that considering how much free time he must have, it's a bit ridiculous that he puts up videos so rarely, but I don't think it's so bad. I think part of it is him being a perfectionist and not wanting to put up a video that he's not 100% happy with. He said in a video some time back that he films a lot of videos that he doesn't end up putting up. I can respect that...yes, YouTube is his job and his viewers are the reason he gets all these opportunities. He could easily make a charlieissoiphonelike channel, which would get partnered in a second, and he'd get ridiculous amounts of views on it by putting up crappy, unedited footage there every day. It could probably rival his main channel in revenue since that one is updated so rarely (possibly exaggerating, but you get the idea). The fact that he doesn't do that shows he's not doing YouTube just for the money and that he actually cares about what kind of content he's putting out there.

I used to be a huge fan of Charlie a few years ago when things like the winegum experiment and stuff were coming out. Now he's just sort of unfunny. I feel like he tries too hard to be the cute nerdy boy in order to keep his fans. But actually, his fans are what really bugs me. It's all 12 year old girls that want to marry him basically. I've been watching kickthepj more now. He reminds me of Charlie but he's far less annoying. Although he does have his fair share of annoying fan girls too.

He's a cute kid, and I can understand why tweens would love him. He has that harmless appeal that Justin Bieber has. I find some of the stuff he does clever, but like most youtube stars I would never pay for his stuff. His voice is alright, but I think his less famous friends, EddPlant and Liam have better voices, but don't get as much attention as Charlie and Alex.

Does he look like anyone to you guys? Every time I watch is videos, I can't help but think he looks like someone famous, but I can't remember who.

I like his videos, though his fanbase is really offputting for me. But he puts up quality videos, and I enjoy watching them.

However, I don't really like his music. I like one Chameleon Circuit song but that's it - so I definitely prefer his non-music related videos.
