i really like his videos, he is wayy better than shane dawson and all the other youtubers. whatsay?

He's adorable! I love how shy/embarrassed he gets over things. He also seems really down to earth.
Oh, and I'm also a fan of his flatmate, Alex. And even their silly Trock songs.

i loved him when he first started, and still do. he gets a lil' annoying here and there, but he's so down to earth, and... cute!

Well, when he wasn't as popular, I used to love his videos, but lately, I've been kind of disappointed in him. I find his - now super-sized, apparently exclusively made of thirteen year old girls - fan base intolerable and I don't think he's done anything interesting for a while. He obviously doesn't have to, he'll have millions of viewers no matter what he does, as he has an "exotic" accent and he's considered highly attractive by the majority. I'm tired of the "oh-im-so-nerdy-lulz-i-luvz-nintendo-and-doctor-who"-attitude, I don't even know how real it is. Yeah, he's pretty I guess, but that's kind of all there is to him. I don't understand why people like his voice that much, though. I love all kinds of British accents, but his voice is just ordinary, apart from how nasal it often sounds.

I'm not at all a hater, he seems intelligent while being nice and down to earth at the same time, even kind of shy at times. I also don't mind how famous he's gotten - him being able to get in magazines and experience cool stuff like going to Pixar? Good for him. I'm just tired of the hype and I think it's slightly annoying how lucky he got, seeing as I don't personally think he has something special, at least not anymore. There's a lot of interesting people on Youtube who could have been him, and I just think it's sad how he gets so much attention because of his appearance and how *omgzzz soo cute lol" he is. Would prefer if he was completely repulsive look-wise, but had something fascinating and interesting to say and do instead. Do consider myself a minority though, never met someone who felt the same way, so I guess it's just me.

i agree with you on the accent thing i am brittish and he just sounds normal i like him because he can be funny but he should post more regularly but i can't stand his flat mate alex he REALLY pisses me off!!!

Two other youtubers who are similar to him (British boys in their late teens/early twenties) are AmazingPhil and Danisnotinteresting....just thought if you like charlie you might want to check those two out i find them a bit funnier than charlie.

I like his videos, I find them entertaining; however, like an earlier poster said, I'm sick of his "nerd" shtick. He tries way too darn hard.

He's ok. He's not bad, he's not amazing, but he does seem like he has a nice personality. He seems really down to earth and like you can just go up to him and have a pleasant conversation. Not sure about the staying power of his channel, but who knows. He is really cute though! I'm a girl what can I say. haha

He is really fun to watch, he deserves the ton of views that he gets. I bet he made a lot of money off youtube and totally deserves it, really creative and cute.

I've decided to look him up after looking at this topic and within the first video, I'm hooked. I think that he's so charming and intelligent and I love how he doesn't use crude or lewd jokes in order to be funny. I'm not really interested in some of his videos but I do think he has a great sense of humour. His awkwardness is what makes him so watchable. I could care less about his accent but idk, he's just adorable

You just completely summed up what I was about to say.

I used to like his videos a lot. I first started watching him around the time he made his "How to be English" video. He used to be funny and I really liked him. Nowadays, I usually find his videos boring and annoying. And I've noticed that his accent has gotten more over-the-top in recent videos. He used to talk fairly normally, it was a standard English accent, but now it seems like he purposely plays up the "British-ness" of his voice. He sounds way posher than he used to, and he talks in a kinda weird voice.

And, oh my god, his fans. Over 50% of the comments on his video are "OMG HES SO CUTE" or "I LUV HIS ACCENT LOL." And he briefly mentioned having a girlfriend once, and the comments were FULL of "Noooooooooooo!!!!!! He has a girlfriend!!!!! My life is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I don't like his music.
I don't mind Chameleon Circuit. I genuinely like Doctor Who, and I find that his Doctor Who songs are a lot better than his other songs. But, ugh, his other songs annoy me so much. I don't think he's a particularly good singer. I never bought his album but I listened it on Spotify to see if I was missing out on anything. I wasn't. I think all the songs sound the same, really. And nearly all the songs contain the line "this is a song about ____."

I still find the occasional video funny and interesting. I liked his ones with Michael Aranda, where they taught each other English and American slang. But most of the time I think he's a bit overrated nowadays.

I'm also incredibly jealous that he got to go on the set of Doctor Who and meet Matt Smith and everyone.

I am not a big fan of youtube personalities, the only ones I actually watch being Tobuscus (who I'm kind of bored with lol), and ocasionally Shane Dawson and Brittani Louise Taylor, and most recently, Onision :3
I think Charlie is the most genuine and down to earth youtuber.
