Sorry, it wasn't meant as an insult to Shane at all. I meant more looks wise anything, really. I think that like you said, Onision's videos come across as a poor attempt to replicate Shane's. It also seems like Onision makes videos for attention, where as you can tell Shane really loves doing it.

I can't believe that there are some people out there who actually BELIEVE this whole Onision/Shiloh thing. First of all, I thought the 'memory' thing was really iffy. Whose first instinct is to record their girlfriend and post it on the Internetz when she can't even remember your name? Second of all, I don't think I've ever even cracked a smile during one of his videos. "I'm a banana"...like really? Am I four-years-old again?

I just think that the large majority of "Top Youtubers" are not very funny in my opinion. I don't think they could cut it on TV.

I used to LOVE him, found him through Shane Dawson, cause he did the intro for viewer orgy!
Some of his videos were wtf? Got attached to his 'speaks' channel, cause I thought he was being nice and answered some questions really well!
And when he divorced Skye (not sure now to spell it), I felt sorry for him, believed she was the bad one, and then Shiloh came around, made him happy and I was happy for him! When things weren't going so well I still stayed by him and supported him.
But now it has gone too far for me. When he was with Skye he was normal, I do not know what happened in his personal life, but he seemed better with Skye, than anyone else as of now. Cause when Shiloh came, he just felt like some 'Jersey Shore' member, showing off all of his problems and life and what not.. That started to irritate me and probably many other of his now 'ex' fans. He started to treat his subbies in a rude way which pissed me off! His recent video I think, is telling everyone to back off and he says he wont post about his personal life, but sure he is BEGGING for the attention, calling us 12 year olds? Hah a 12 yr old wouldn't be able to tell him what a !£!$"% he really is... Anyway... I am at the last string with him...
Oh and Shiloh pisses me off... He needs someone more mentally stable..

But I love Greg. I just think he should try being a little more open-minded sometimes....

[size=12]BUT, honestly, I like his personality waaayyy better than most mainstream youtubers. Heres why:

He doesn't pretend to be nice. I like the fact that yes, while he is an ahole at times, he is being himself and I can have MUCH more respect for him being that way, than I could him pretending to be nice and perfect all the time, and then being an ahole when the camera shuts off .

His humor is very specific, to say the least, and it triggers a very specific audience .

About his gf having the whole mental breakdown on camera, well, not that its right, but she said herself she didn't want to get medical help .

I am also a new subbie. Just discovered his vids, and I love his Speaks vids

But I have read all the comments, and watched alot of his vids.

Now about her claiming someone elses sick child, I agree... no bueno

But he does have good points and opinons. He might not go about it the right way, but he speaks out against things like racism, female objectification, and homophobia. And while I might not agree with everything he says, it is HIS channel after all so he isn't entitled to be politically correct.

All in all, I like him. My opinon might change as I learn more about him, but for now, I think he is pretty cool

THANK YOU! I just figured out why she's always looked so familiar to me. This song used to be on commercials advertising her album all the time in Canada. She was even nominated for a Juno Award (Canadian Grammy), and Much Musiv Video Awards in 09 and 10.

I'm not really sure how popular she actually was, but I certainly hope she didn't give it all up for Greg. She's actually pretty talented.

I really dislike the drama surrounding both her and Greg, but seeing her old music videos is really upsetting to me.

I live in Canada, and when she was popular I wasn't really a fan of her music - but I respected her a lot for having her own style and she seemed genuinely happy in her own skin. She was a tad heavier (definitely not fat by any means), but I thought she looked great. She was unique looking, and that made her stand out to me.

It's really sad to see how worn down she looks now, she has clearly let go of herself a little. I wish she would get far away from Greg and get the medical attention she clearly desperately needs. It's becoming more and more apparent that she has a mental disorder of some sort - I wish she would treat it before things get even worse.

Yeah, shame she let herself go (and I mean inside and out), she really has always had such a pretty face. I couldn't believe it was her when I saw the channel. She sings almost as well as Hayley Williams, or whoever that chick from Paramore is. The fact that she's a published artist doesn't make any of her crap with Onision anymore believable.

I thought i might like his videos, but He's pretentious and preachy and is always contradicting himself! I hate that he acts like he knows women and is sensitive to us. I hate that so many young girls are watching him and getting sucked into his nonsense. And shares way too many person things about ex's.

Greg really bothers me, his onision channel is just plain boring and his onisionspeaks channel just really pisses me off. Hes WAAAAAYYY too pushy about his beliefs and gives off the 'if you don't believe the same thing then you're a horrible person' attitude. One of them that really made me angry was about his vegetarianism which is one thing, its fine is a human wants to be a veg, thats an option since we're omivores but then he started saying how his carnivore animals are all on biologically inappropriate meatless diets. Don't force your beliefs on poor animals.

I know, i was just implying how BIG of a liar he is considering he can outlie phanny. Hes a good manipulator which is how he gets people to do his bidding. much like Sae from Peach Girl.
