CTFxC (Charles and Alli)

Since there's already a thread about the Shaytards, I thought I would start one about CTFxC. They both blog about their lives every single day and would like to get people's opinions on them.

What are people's thoughts on CTFxC?

I've noticed that I'm starting to not really watch their videos anymore, they don't catch my attention like they use to. I think I just loved watching them when they were in Spain because the scenery was beautiful. Also, Charles is getting annoying and needs to grow the hell up.

^ you just took the words out of my mouth. I started watching Charles & Alli when she was studying in Spain. Remember her constant obsession with shawarmas? But then they got back to Florida & I realized how annoying both of them are and completely stopped watching them. I can't even remember why I can't stand either one of them. I think it's because they're obsessed with themselves. I completely prefer Shaytards to Charles & Alli... love their kids and the hilarious things they say.

Literally exactly what you said is how I feel. After she came home from Spain it's just been B-O-R-I-N-G. IF i watch one of their vids, I end up skipping through it. Just a snooze fest lately idk...

There's only so much of someone's daily life I can take. I realized I just do not care anymore about CTFxC and Charles Trippy annoys the crap out of me. The older blogs when in Spain was cute and fun and interesting and something out of the ordinary, now it's just weird and awkward to see someone live every day, their normal, uneventful life. I used to watch religiously and now I just find them both annoying.

Ha, yeah I remember her eating the shawarmas like everyday of her life. I'm actually sorta envious of her ability to eat whatever she wants and still stay stick thin

Is anyone aware of that controversy that was going on awhile back about Charles? He started dating Alli around December of '08 and proposed to her less than a year later. And right before dating Alli, he had broken up with his fiancee who's name is also Ally (except ends with a y). Isn't it weird? Seems like he jumps the gun way too fast as far as proposals go.

Thank for that video Lady Madonna! Charles is so Douchey!!!!! I knew he had another gf before Alli but I never knew her name was Ally and that she was his ex-fiancee!!! I cringe when I see a guy going to extremes to propose. I know that some people may think it's really romantic and I agree if you do want to marry the guy but what if you're uncertain? She can't exactly reject him while the cameras are rolling and they're thousands of feet above the air. I had lukewarm feelings for this guy in high school but went out with him for because he had me in a hug when he asked me to be his girlfriend. His happy face was inches away from and I couldn't say "no". For 2 freaking weeks I had to find ways to nicely drop hints and find loop holes out while he was all lovey-dovey. He showed me poems he had written & even introduced me his mom! The most awkward 2 weeks of my life!!! Maybe Ally felt pressured into saying "yes" or she had second thoughts of spending the rest of her life with Charles and his youtube persona.

I have followed CTFxC for about a year but i've had an off and on annoyance with them. Right now im annoyed with them. It irks me that they haven't gotten married. They even celebrated the day they got engaged, how lame. Just get married already! They have money to do it, just seems like they are being picky or waiting til Alli is done with college. They always seem to have to find something to do or make up something stupid just for the video. I hate when Charles says, we are going to go here and here for you guys to see it...thanks i guess, im so lame that i have to watch you go to an mtv event when you don't even like the jersey shore. They even mess around in stores just for the video it seems, it drives me crazy you don't have to play with everything you walk by. I always skip through the video if they are showing the dogs howling or at the dog park. Alli is a know it all you and she has to point it out and correct it. You can even tell when Charles is trying to pronounce something he will look over at Alli or question whether he is saying it right cause he knows if he didn't say it right she will say, "no char its like this, not that." Along with there annoyance, in the months that i do enjoy watching there videos, they do seem like genuine people, Charles is very prompt about getting the videos up on time and when he promises something he always comes through, and you can actually tell they really do enjoy making videos not just for the money.

Aw I love them! I don't understand how you guys can view them as douchey. They just joke around a lot and such. But to each their own I suppose. I would totally hang out with them though if I ever had the chance.

I loveee Charles and Alli, I think they seem really genuine and they are very loyal to the subscribers, plus I just love watching the videos. So excited for the wedding

I watch their videos every now and then, but I will admit they do get a little boring sometimes. It's also kind of weird because they live in the same city as me, and it took me like 10 videos to actually figure it out. I guess because we live on opposite sides of the city, and I don't really go to bars and stuff, but it's cool to see their perspective of the city.


I like Alli's wedding video she made, I'm going to watch those. It would be cool if they had their wedding here in the city because I bet a ton of other YouTubers would come here for it...that would be cool!

Did anyone see their Playlist Live video with Princesstard in it? It was soo cute! I loved how she said "No, let's go get my trophy" at the end. I think Charles and Alli would make great parents.

I watch their videos when they're going places more than when they're just hanging around town or at home.

I am currently subscribed to the CTFxC channel, and have been for a while. I will agree with most that the vlogs do get a bit boring: I haven't watched in over a week. However, Charles and Alli are some of the most genuine people on YT, they love what they do, Charles keeps his word on video uploads for his main channel "CharlesTrippy" He's also pretty good with uploading his vlogs at the same time everyday. You can just tell that Charles and Alli are doing this because they want to, not just for the money, views and subscriptions. I tune in to Alli's channel now to watch her progress with planning the wedding on November 20th Although I don't watch as often, I do think they are good people; they get to keep my subscription

Ummmmm... I freaking love Charles Trippy. He is so sexy, I would sex him up if aly wasn't in the room... His vlogs can get boring, but you get to stare at him

I love them both. They're my guilty pleasure. I prefer them significantly over SHAYTARDS. I can't stand that family.

Some videos of theirs can get boring, yes, but you can't expect people who post daily to come up with something exciting every single time. It's impossible.

I really like Charles, never noticed anything douchey about him. Alli sometimes can be a bit much, treating Charles like a baby. And im also over
the every day 'taking the dogs to the park' part of the vlog, it gets boring.

I wrote that before they mentioned when they were getting married. It is just a pet peeve of mine when people get engaged and take 3 years to get married, sometimes it seems like they just like the title of being engaged. I realized some people have reasons or compilations that makes it a long engagement. But i'm pretty happy to final see some wedding planning going on with them, im excited for their wedding but its so far away still.

all i have to say is thank god he cute his hair! he is so cute with the shorter hair.

I love charles, i swear he has to be a huge stoner. Not a big fan of Alli though, you can tell she was really stuck up in high school.

How old is Charles? I know Alli turned 21 in vegas, maybe last summer?

I'm pretty sure Charles is in his mid to late 20s, like 25-26ish.

One thing that rubbed me the wrong way was in an older video (last year-xmas?), one of Allie's friends said something along the lines of "I'm glad finally Allie got the man she wanted and she won't have to work her whole life." Again, this is from memory. But it was something like that. They're cashing in on youtube. It's why they push their tshirts so hard. After that, I kinda was like meh. It made Allie seem a little gold digger ish.

Charles' is interwide famous for his internet youtube pushing. He was on a reality show called "The Next Internet Millionaire" (this was also the webshow he proposed to the other Ally), his plan was making a DVD on how to become an internet sensation. This was all pre-CTFxC so the show and the DVD has faded into obscurity. Just based on my personal opinion it feels unwise to really rely on being youtube-famous to keep you afloat because really, there's a brand new viral-something every week. At least Alli is finishing college and considering going to grad-school, good on her.

Does anyone else think Alli acts and looks like she's in her late 20s? When I found out that she's only 21 I almost couldn't believe it.
