moderator on a power trip?

So I'm on this other forum having a debate and lets just say the two other people who are posting aren't agreeing with me. Well I ended up double posting because as I as just done posting one thing I realized that someone else had posted another message to me. So instead of editing the post I just made I just made a new reply resulting in me having two back to back post. Now I realized I should have just edited my post but I wasn't thinking about it at the time.

So then the moderator for the forum said that if I didn't get rid of the double post they were doing to delete my account. So I apologized for the double post and then tried to edit my post into one post and the delete the extra one. This is where I call B/S there is no option to delete post. So I messaged him about it and he said only moderators can do it, but that he wasn't going to do it for me. Then he continued to tell me I had to get rid of it within 15 minutes knowing it's not possible!

So basically he is purposely trying to get me kick of the site! Most likely because he doesn't agree with the things that I'm writing in the post, But I haven't even been offensive or anything!

Anyone else had to deal with a moderator on a power trip?

I've never had a problem like this happen before, the moderator on this site is acting like a child! I'm glad I don't have to deal with that here!

When I first read the title I thought you were talking about the Mods here but then I realized it was about a different forum!! I was like NO WAY....all the Mods here are awesome! Not just saying that. I think they are really fair and humble.

There is one contact lens forum I occasionally visit where a Mod messaged me and said he was going to ban me if I didn't post at least 3 times per week. REALLY? And on top of that in order to be allowed to join the forum and view anything you have to sign up and wait a few weeks to be "approved." Many people have gotten rejected from it without reason. People have complained that it's like a secret society for exclusive members only. Needless to say, i'm still waiting to be banned...Fools.

LOL I will admit I knew the title might freak people out! But I also new the mod's here are smart enough to read the topic before deleting it. That's crazy! I know there are some forums that I'm on that I hardly ever post on, what does it matter if you post or not?! I've also had to wait a long time to be "approved" for some forums, It's like are you serious? It's not like you have any information on me in which to decide if I should be approved or not! It's just crazy!

That's just dumb.. telling the user they must delete the post when only mods can do that.. lmao
I haven't had any bad experiences with mods on forums, mostly because this is the only forum I've ever really been on, I think.

Yeah I don't know what this mods problem is, I was just reading another post on the same forum and the same mod that yelled at me replied to another girl that also double posted but he didn't even care! He just posted in response to her and joined in on the conversation. He didn't say one word to her about her double post! Oh that made me so mad!!

I quit the site now, but I used to be a regular on Asianload.com
I got along great with both moderators and other members, but suddenly one of the members started to hate on me, called me a slut etc. I contacted a mod, whom I thought was my friend (she'd let me DJ on the forum radio and had been so nice to me prior to the incident), but she just told me that the girl was right and that I should grow up - basically. I was like ''O_O wtf?''. The girl who called me a slut of course was wearing a bikini in her own photo.. very classy. lol

Anyway, I got really sick of their bs and decided that I wanted to delete my account and cancel the membership of the site.. HOWEVER, there was no 'delete account' or 'cancel membership' option, so I contacted the super admin who just told me that he didn't wanna delete my account.. O_O Apparently I was a pretty face to advertise for the forum.. WTF? Not only was that SOOO tacky, but also not true. lol. Anyway, I think he still hasn't deleted it. Or maybe he has.. but seriously.. that girl who stabbed me in the back, basically, was an admin. He let his 'admin' act like a retard and instead of apologizing and doing something about it - he simply said that he wouldn't delete my account. -__-"

Don't you just love people?... I would have been so mad. How are you the one who needs to grow up when they are being so childish they won't even remove your pictures for you. I had that problem too on the site I was banned from, they still have my picture and stuff up which I don't get because I deleted my account right before they blocked my ip address. But I know they still have them cause I searched the site using a proxy.

It's just weird that they didn't delete your info. Isn't that.. some sort of violation of something law-like? (oh look at me being so smart.. lol)

I'm also a moderator on JapanForum.com (I run the music section) and we got some new mods a while back to help us out - including this fanatic fan who turned out to be 36 years old irl with a SON. She kept nagging me about everything. I had to clean up HER mess all the freaking time. She posted ENDLESSLY about things that didn't even fit in. She broke the rules, made several accounts, TOOK OVER one of my main threads that I'd been running, because she felt that I didn't update it enough. She simply just took it O_O'' I was like ''WHAT THE FLYING FUCK?!''.. Eventually people got sick of her and chased her off the site.. she's not a mod anymore, but damn the rest of the 'staff' on the site had to chase her out. Seriously.. some people are just fucking weird.

Orange... Seriously? You, of all people, should worship the mods on this site.
