Christmas Gifts!

just realized we are super close to Christmas and I have a question for you guys...

what is the worst, worst christmas gift you could get this coming holiday??

for me...is clothing = -= i hate people giving me clothes for christmas...it just pisses me off...

this christmas is gonna suck balls for me...coz my mom's out of the country so i'm home alone with no christmas tree, no money and no presents...well i know my boyfriend and his family are getting me presents...but he told his mom to get me clothes...i dont know why...= -=

It's worse when people you have known for years yet you that generic bath crap... it's so impersonal. I used to get really offended and disappointed. I would rather they spent a fraction of the money and actually made the effort to get me something personal or at least something that I would like. It made me feel like getting me a gift was a burden to them and they just got me some random crap they had laying around the house. (not from everyone, mind you. i accept them from aunts and stuff but your own friend? cheap shot hunny, cheap shot...)

For the past few years I've not had any expectations on my Christmas presents and have been buying the things i want all year round so that anything i get at Christmas is just bonus or stuff which can be given away to someone else. I still put a lot of thought into other peoples' gifts though, but don't care much about what i am getting any more. I am much happier now, and Christmas has come more about the giving than the receiving, which is really what it should be about! - I'm growing, i know hehe happy holidays everyone!

aw sweetie, I say just get one of those cheapo fake trees, a nice string of fairy lights to put around your room and get creative with making some little jewellery or cards? dont put so much pressure on yourself and enjoy having the place to yourself, watch some funny films and bake some cakes! and you've always got us when you wanna vent!

inorite? from where i come from if offensive to give people clothes for christmas or their bday...unless ur gramma is giving you clothes coz usually grammas know no better...and i told him that and he's like "is culturally fine" D:!! America is just so different...

and well...my bf got me a lil plastic tree but it only has balls XD lol balls...well coz my mother left me with no money now that she's gone on her vacation...i have like a dollar left to buy food...lol

really? where do you come from then? i gotta say i generally dont get clothes as presents unless it's my sister as we have the same body size so we know what is going to fit each other lol

your mum left you to go on holiday with no money? any chance you might be able to get a job? when i was a bit younger i used to hand out flyers and get £20 for a couple of hours work, which was pretty good!

Worst christmas gift I ever got... Probably a box full of socks and underwear. The christmassy kind... Gotta love grandmas!

But then again she did get me a really nice gift that I ended up unwrapping last. So I guess it was just a filler gift, sort of. I always loved getting money and gift cards, it makes it so much easier to just go and get what you want!

The worst gift I ever recieved was a dollar store impersonation perfume of Marc Jacobs Lola called "Hola"! Ahahahahah

...A weird looking doll. I got it in school from a friend in 3rd grade and it was idk creepy. I didn't like it.
