Makeup Confessions

I thought this might be interesting! Post stuff gurus say you should do but you don't..or just makeup/skincare things you're supposed to do that you don't follow.
For me:
-I don't wear foundation!
-I tug at my eye to apply eyeliner (oops)
-I rarely use concealer

That's all I can think of for now!

-I never wear primer. (don't see the difference)
-I don't know if this is common or not, but, I cannot stand wearing lipstick or lipgloss. I frequently sip out of a waterbottle throughout the day and it's annoying having to worry about the lipstick coming off. Same goes for when I'm eating. How irritating it must be to worry about that lipstick/gloss coming off!! I also hate the heavy feeling on my lips.
-I don't wear eyeshadow, period.
-I don't wear liquid or cream foundations. (I have a weird skin texture that doesn't look good with them on)

-I never wear concealer
- I don't use primers
- I don't curl my lashes
- Haha I'm constantly rubbing and tugging my eyes when applying eye make up
- I usually don't wash off my eye make up so most nights I am sleeping in my eye make up
- I don't really wear blush that much, and I never wear bronzer
- Even if I have eyeshadow on I won't wear mascara or eyeliner with it (I have freakishly long and thick lower and upper lashes)

Those gurus don't know nothing lol!

I hate wearing blush or bronzer
I won't ash my face before bed if it's just eye makeup
- if I sleep with foundation it irritates my skin ;o
I don't use primers
I'm too lazy to pluck my eyebrows
- so they are natural or waxed
- but I have no issues with shaving, haha
I tuck on my eyelids when I apply eyeliner
I rarely wear anything on my lips
- besides chapstick
- I just just found the perfect lip stain covergirl ;D
Uhh, I can't think of anything else

i don't smile to find my apples

-I never wear concealer
-I don't use face primer
-I don't curl my lashes
-I tug on my eyes
-It don't line my lips when I wear lipstick
-I don't wear bronzer because I think it looks stupid on pale skin
-I don't always wear powder over liquid foundation
-I don't wear brown or copper eyeshadow even though I have blue eyes so that's what I'm supposed to wear
-I don’t always moisturize because I have kind of oily skin
-I put water in mascara when it’s starts to dry out
-I use my hands to apply my foundation
-I like to wear a red lip with dark eye makeup
-… OMG… I SHARE makeup! Yup! I sure do… lol I’m not a germaphobe, I have no problem sharing with friends/family
-I don't wash all my eye makeup off before I go to bed (I keep my eyebrow makeup on) otherwise I look like I don't have eyebrows and it's not a good look lol

1. I don't wear powder at all. It just gives my face an unnatural caked look.
2. I buy eyeshadows I don't plan on using ><"
3. I don't always wash my foundation brushes after I use it once.
4. I can't find a lipstick shade to suit my skin tone T__T

-I bought so much makeup recently that I have no idea if I will ever use it all
-I have never worn face primer
-I rarely wear makeup and yet I own a ton of it
-I buy lots my products for my face and never use them all
-I wear eyeshadow only when I feel like I want to
-I wear concealer and only lip gloss if I wear makeup if ever
-I wear lip gloss every time I am going to go out
-I like really expensive anti-aging products for my face
-I don't wash my face sometime before I go to bed and I should
-I love to buy face masques and yet I have some I never fully used
-I used to wear lipstick and yet I have a ton of it and I should use it more often
-I haven't worn bronzer in years and I still own some
-I never wear bright eye shadow eyes unless they are light and not too bright
-I only wear foundation if I need and want too
-I haven't worn eyeliner since high school and don't plan too anytime soon
-I don't use lip liner and yet I own a ton of it
-I haven't worn powder in years
-I only curl my eye lashes if I feel like it
-I only wax my eye brows with nads wax because its more safe and natural than other waxs
-I don't use mascara that often unless I want to have a more dramatic look
-I never share my makeup
-I only use blush if I want and need too
-I wash my makeup off if I am going to bed
-I haven't used nail polish in years but I plan to soon and I should I have soon much

That's all I can think of for now, if I find out more I will post. =)

-i hate nail polish
-i never line my lips when i use lipstick
-i love eyeshadows but i'm too poor to buy any
-all the make up i have is make up my mom has bought for herself but i hide before she can get it out of the package (she always finds out i have)
-i wear mismatched color lenses on purpose
-i have 2 lipsticks, a pink one and a black one
-i have a case of carmex...new...

-I never wear a concealer,
-I don`t powder my face, because it looks cakey,
-I rarely wear eyeshadows,
-I have tons of nailpolishes, and most of them I don`t plan on wearing....ever
-I never sleep with my make up on
-I wear bronzer a lot, but I don`t wear blush
-I love eyeliners, but I wear only black, because I think that I would look like an idiot if I would put some other colour, regardless of the fact that my eyes will "pop"
-I wear a lot of mascara, because I don`t have very long lashes

some have already been said, so i wont repeat those. my unique ones are:

- i rarely wear makeup on sundays
- i rarely wash my brushes (that was hard to admit... lol)
- i always wear nail varnish. ALWAYS.
- i always do a different makeup look every day
- i own so many lipsticks and lipglosses... but never, ever wear them
- i apply lipbalm (chapstick) constantly and cant concentrate if my lips are tight and dry. therefore i have lipbalms everywhere: my bags, my desk at work, my room, my car... lol
- i never take make up out with me. once it's applied in the morning that is it until i get home!

-I rarely use a face primer
-I don't curl my eyelashes
-I rarely wash my brushes
And one I haven't seen yet which surprises me:
-I don't throw mascaras out every three monthes.

1.MAC is NOT the best makeup brand out there
2. I don't like the look of concealor lips
3. I never wash my brushes
4.I throw MY mascaras out when they run dry haha
5.Primer for anything is just one extra step as a college student I just dont have time for
6.I sleep in my makeup
7.Fake eyelashes itch

there are a ton more but yea im done refer to the rest of the replies cause i do it all

ah so relieved others dont wash their brushes much either.... lol

Yeah I totally don't wash my brushes enough either, whoopsie!
-never wear lip liner

-don't contour because I don't really feel like looking like a drag queen
-I rarely wear makeup on the weekends, usually I wear it only for work.

Oh my god, I forgot about contouring!!! *facepalm* I looked like an idiot!!! Tried it once, and I will never do it again....

Well,

-i don't use any primers, just mosturizing cream for my face and concealer as a primer for any eye shadow, i think it does the same effect
-i don't wear ANY foundation and never will
-no contouring
-wear my blush/bronzer like i feel it should be applied, so it means all over my face haha
-i stretch my eye when i apply eye liner, i don't see how you can apply it without stretching it, i wish i knew, but it's already hard for me to get it even with the other eye, so if i don't stretch my eye i won't be able to apply it evenly lol
-i don't use MAC, Bobbi Brown, Coastal Scents, Urban Decay, etc even if they say it's very important to have at least an item of these brands, they aren't affordable/avalaible where i live, so i just use what i find.
-i don't own any face brushes except a blush brush and i use it to apply bronzer as well haha

-I don't use foundation
-I rarely clean my brushes
-I don't curl my lashes
-I don't fill in/define my brows
-I rarely wash my make-up off at night(I really should...)
-I don't usually wear concealer
-I wear a little bronzer even in the winter
-I've never worn false lashes out

I'm sure there's more but that's it for now.

-I rarely ever wear foundation: I just feel like it doesn't look good on me, no matter how many different brands I try.

-I don't do anything to my eyebrows, except or occasionally plucking stay hairs

-I never contour

-I rarely use an eye cream: I can't seem to find one that I like that seems to actually make a difference.

-I'm horrible about cleaning my brushes

tictac are you me? i do the exact same things. if i open my bag right now theres probably like 5 chapsticks in there, i never redo my make up after i do it in the mornings and im a constant nail polish wearer.

I rarely wash my brushes. I haven't noticed increased breakouts. It's probably bad and I especially wouldn't want to give myself an eye infection, but so far it hasn't happened.

I don't curl my eyelashes. You'd think this was essential for your overall look, the way the "gurus" talk about it. I do have an eyelash curler but it's just too much trouble to fuss with, and I certainly wouldn't buy an expensive one.

I don't have any MAC makeup. I do have a 182 that I got at a CCO for a slightly reduced price.

I tug at my eyes!

- I have a primer that i've used ONCE and i shall never use again - i really don't see the point of it and i'm just not bothered to apply it
- I rarely ever wear foundation, although i own 5 different ones.
- I can't stand the feeling of lipgloss on my lips - therefore i never wear it or i end up licking it off...LOL
- If i wear lipstick i never apply it fully on my lips, i just dab some on and rub it in with my fingers to give some colour
- I'm obsessed with lipbalms, and like you tictac i've got around 10 of them lying around somewhere convenient for me to use them. I probably re-apply it around 30 times a day
- I've never worn lipliner
- The only MAC item i own is a lipgloss. Most of my other makeup is either Maybelline, Revlon, or Covergirl - i love these brands and i wouldn't spend my money on "high end" products because i don't see the point
- I have a lot of makeup although i barely use 1/4 of it
- I wear mascara almost everyday, even though my eyelashes are naturally long and thick
- If i come home late and i'm tired, i won't wash my makeup off until i wake up the next morning....and then i break out and regret it
- When i see gurus using products like "urban decay primer potion" i cringe because i think they're so uneccessary
- I've never used concealer
- If i wear foundation, i never ever set it with powder
- I use grey eyelner more than black - it suits my eye colour far better
- I only curl my lashes if i'm going out to a big event
- I'm only 18 but i'm obsessed with getting wrinkles so i use sunscreen like crazy and i have a $50 pot of anti-wrinkle eye cream (made for women who are 40+) that i apply every night
- I only mousturise my face if it looks or feels dry - which is pretty much never
- I like bronzer more than blush
- I've never contoured my face
- I own heaps of eye shadows and have probably worn eyeshadow around 6 times in my whole life
- I'm helpless at liquid eyeliner unless i use a specific liquid eyeliner brush

Done

-I never wear bronzer, I wear blush
-I am obsessed with putting sunblock under my makeup
-I wash my brushes consistently. Probably every 3-5 uses of my brushes.
-I don't own anything by MAC
-I will only cleanse and tone my face... sometimes I skip the moisturizing part hehe
-I can wear powder as a foundation if I use enough setting spray
-I HATE black eyeliner. It just doesn't look good on me!

That's it...

-I tug on my eyes like there is not tomorrow when applying mascara,eyeliner,eye primer,concealer and when removing it all.
-I contour without adding blush.
-I don't always wear lip liner.
-I sleep with my makeup on.
-I don't line my eye lids, only water line.
-I don't fill in my eyebrows.

Wow, I am bad.

Oh yeah & I don't like EVER "spot" clean my brushes. Only sometimes. Ewwww I'm gross!!!!
