Their Advice Channels...

I think that their advice channels are cool but some of their advice is a little cheesy and predictable if you know what I mean. Like the one with Justin and Ben where they were acting out signs that a boy doesn't like you they were really obvious signs. With there other channel, GuysAdvice4Girls, the answers were kind of generic. Something that I, a 14 yr. old girl, could come up with. But hey it might help some people. Just my opinion.

did she steal the idea from someone else? my friend told me something like that. the girl was some random girl who asked for megan's opinion since she was so popular, and megan told her it was dumb and then took the idea when she started this new channel? info please? because if she really did then people, like younger girls, shouldn't look up to her.

If you look at the main thread for megan, you'll see the girl posted a message explaining her situation. Her youtube name is beerenaud.

I saw the girls post that she had sent me the idea. I honestly don't remember getting the email from her and I have over 4400 unread emails in my YT inbox, if that is where she sent it? But regardless, Justin and Ben had been doing guyadvice4girls for months, and lots of girls had asked for girl advice. Literally hundreds of requests and suggestions for an advice channel from the female perspective. So, I definitely already had the idea months ago. But I am very sorry that she feels like a did something to slight her. And as other people have said, there are many beauty gurus on YT, there is plenty of room for many advice channels as well.

Because I don't see why they are discussing my parents, which is very hurtful to me, and completely unrelated to talking about "beauty guru" stuff. And no, my parents are not divorced, not that it is anyone's business. I would appreciate it if you deleted all of these posts that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic of this forum.

makeupaddict, please delete all posts that are about me. all of them attemp to show me in a bad light, and that is really unfair. and the advice channel is justin and ben's own thing, i am not trying to take over. i am sorry if you guys think that. but this is a channel we have with our friends, so we can share the experience. we are even thinking about adding mia and molly, because they have some advice they want to share to. i respect your opinions but some of them aren't entirely factual.

I believe you didn't intentionally copy this girl. It happens, I know that. But this forum is a place to discuss without having our comments removed and being blocked. To ask them to delete all posts is the same as deleting comments on your videos and blocking. Only here we do it freely. You're trying to take that right away.

No, it was not someone from your area, which is why I deleted the post as well as the thread about your parents, since it encouraged the spread of false rumors. Thanks for understanding!

this is nuts. megan blocks comments if theyre negative and then comes here to read all the negative comments "to improve?" its silly. megan, i don't think you should be on this website anyways. the things that some people write will drive you crazy, some things are just plain cruel... so you shouldn't worry about it. the other thing is that you can't bitch about that chick being upset if she thought you copied her. you should just tell her that you didn't even read her email, i'm sure she would understand, and i think she had a post up saying that she was just mad at the time and she just reacted. But how can you blame her, anyone would think it was a little too coincidental. anyways, long story short, people should be a little more forgiving, but at the end of the day if people need a place to vent, thats the whole reason of this site so megan shouldn't be so upset. although i will say that you shouldn't be talking about her parents... that has nothing to do with her, or her channels or you.

the advice channel is a complete joke. The only reason they are popular at all, is because Megan supported it. Without her, noone would subscribe to them. She even held a contest that it was required to be subscribed to ouradvice4you. It's so ridiculous.

On Glassslipperbeauty's "Guy Advice" video. They commented this because at the end of her video, she showed footage of girls from her school answering questions about guys. Something that OurAdvice4You does in their videos.

There was a fury of Allies fans as they all replied to the comment with things like "We requested this video!" and "Get a life you dumb shits!"

Glassslipperbeauty then also commented back saying she didn't want problems, and that she would take it down if they wanted.

yeah I haven't seen the video, unfortunately, I would have liked to see that. but yeah just ten minutes ago there was a post someone asking her did she do that post and now it's gone replaced by four "I love you megan" So yeah I'm thinking that today is just not her day and honestly, can not believe i'm saying this, I feel bad for her but she did put herself in this situation. That's why i'm starting to think you should not be alowed to do guru videos until you at least seventeen that way you will be able to handle the backlash a bit and be smart enough to know what to do and what not to do.

Megan was oviously the one who made that comment on allie's video. She is the one who responds to 99% of the comments on ouradvice4you, so i must of been her. In my opinion, Megan is pathetic! Just because they make advice videos dosent mean nobody else can make them. If that were the case,she wouldnt even be a "guru" after Michelle Phan because she would of copied the idea of Michelle's videos too!
