What do you ladies think of her? I personally think she is really good at face makeup meaning all this counturing etc, she can really transform with makeup! However I don't think her eye makeup skills are that good I haven't seen anything close to wearable from her yet on that field not even a type of makeup u would wear when u go out it just seems overdrawn and when she did like Kim Kardashian you would think she could create something more wearable... But i'm watchin her, I think she started off really good.... So what's your opinion on her?

Oh she sure is, I honestly don't even consider Michelle Phan talented at all I think she gained popularity for being "cute" not talented... Promise definetely is but her eye makeup disappointed me again in another video, her newest one. But she does know how to change her face!

I actually liked her videos, but when i saw her homophobic comment on a parody video of michellepphan i was extremely turned off. She was probably just heated at the moment but prejudice is simply disgusting.
I know this is a rave section but i will say that she does have talent, at least shes better than michelle i'll give her that.

Promise is the bomb I love her she has soo much talent too bad she doesn't edit her videos like her sister in law she would definitely give Michelle a run for her money.. Promise needs to invest in a good camera and editing software and she is golden!

anyone else think this girl is amazing? her name is promise... she not only seems sweet, but i also think she's really talented. she does "transformations" where she basically transforms into various celebrities through makeup and what not. i think it's cool, she's done guy transfomations too (lil wayne, justin bieber lol, michael jackson) what do you guys think?

I also think she is amazingly talented! She's Michelle Phan's sister-in-law (she's married to MP's brother)....she wrote on my youtube wall/page and I didn't even write on hers or send her a message (just left a nice comment on her vids). Dang, I wanted to go and check it out but, like you, her being mp's sister in law ruined it for me also.

I gave in ( despite who her sister in law is) and she is VERY talented! Seems pretty nice too. Hope Michelle doesn't rub off on her ( there's alot of lancome products I've noticed but it was cool she used coastal scents too!)

I didn't know MP was her sister in law! Despite that, she's her own person and I think people should give her a chance anyway I'm excited for her to post some tutorials on the transformations shes done. It would be weird being her hubby and coming home to her as justin bieber or lil wayne LOL.

I don't really think you can hold it against her that she's MP's sister in law. Anyways, I think she's really good and she has a lot of talent. Plus her videos are more fun and creative then most gurus.

I wouldn't say she is the most talented but I definitely think she has talent. And I haven't seen a lot of other gurus do the kinds of videos that she does. I can't comment on her personality though, I haven't been watching her long enough to really notice her being rude.

I 'liked' her Fanbook page through a long time. But I started being a bit weird about it after she just randomly bought a puppy at a pet store. Turns out she got the dog from those so-called 'dog factories'. The dog was sick already when she got it (kennel cough) and I can't believe she'd be dumb enough to buy a dog from such a place -__-" Gosh. I lost all respect from her now.. She's good at makeup, but when it comes to animal welfare, she's just like her sister in law (or whatever Michelle is to her). She also stated on her FB that her husband couldn't deal with the loss of another pet, as he'd just lost his bunny a few months ago from kidney failure.. say what? Wasn't Mr. Bunbun MICHELLE'S bunny? O_Ô oh well

She's talented at putting on a wig, but her makeup up close is terrible especially the contouring. She has that whole kandee johnson syndrome put on a bunch of crap to look like a character and take a good pictures and every one will think you're a great makeup artist. She's only around because of MP, her subscribers shot up really fast. Another one out for money.

I completely agree. Promise is talented, way more talented than her sister in law. Every time she transforms herself, i have to look twice because she looks so much like them.

Promise should go to a makeup artist school and become certified. She's pretty good on her own, needs improvement on contouring and blending, but with a license she can much further than her sister-in-law who does craptastic work.

PLUS if Promise wants to be PAID to do makeup she needs to be licensed in FLORIDA where she resides.

She's very talented, much more so than Michelle. Her looks are so versatile, but she can really pull them off. I admit to having tried a couple of the transformations she's shown lol, just out of boredom/curiosity. By following the same exact methods, I didn't even remotely look like what I was attempting to.

SHE'S GORGEOUS. i like her videos. although she might not have perfect make-up skills, her looks are more impressive than anything michelle has done. can't help but compare them lol. but really, i enjoy her transformations and she seems like a nice girl.
