Do something else with your hair for a change!

I'm so over seeing the dramatic ringlets and I don't think I'm the only one....?

It would be so nice to see the good old Elle's straight hair for a change even in just one video. Not much of a point pretending to be a beauty guru if you can't, for example do a different make-up routine or as in this case different hair! I hope this didn't sound VERY mean, because I'm honestly looking forward to seeing a different kind of thumbnail pic of you, Elle!

complain all you want about her ringlets. thats what this forum is for. i dont like them either. either complain about her ringlets or complain about us complaining about her hair. whats the difference? stop the pretentious "stop complaining" thing.

I got tired of the dramatic ringlets on the HILLS girls long before Elle/Lisa started copying them.

Or change your parting, I'm tired of her grown out bangs. Like you grew them out now move them away from your face. Gurus having hair in their face or all in front just annoys me. Like yeah we get ur extentions are long lol or you think ur hair is pretty.

Yeah, I agree with you. The dramatic ringlets just look really fake, I never liked that style on Elle/Blair. For some reason I just think Elle looks LOADS younger when her hair is straight instead of curled. Anyway, what happened? Blair used to know how to curl hair. (Her Miley Cyrus/Victorias Secret Tutorials were great in my opinion.) Now they both fall flat when they try to use the curling iron. Not sure what happened.

Its because extensions don't hold curl. Personally, i think blair's curls are gorgeous, but elle's look crunchy and stiff, like she puts on too much hairspray. Elle's hair is overall bland. theirs nothing special about it.

and god i want to SHOOT her every time she "causally" moves her bangs from her face.

actually extensions are easier to curl, hence the dramatic ringlets. you can see the texture of the real hair top part is thicker and more natural than the bottom, which are the extensions, which then go to tight ringlets because it's thinner (the actual strands are thinner) because the cuticle is shaved down on extensions.

why can't she just put her hair in a pony tail?

I have to admit. I didnt even know blair got extensions. I thought that it was her natural hair. It just looked so natural. I didnt even know until I saw that video where her hair was damp and she was styling it. I thought, "wow...coulda fooled me."

Elle's I could tell right off the bat. The bottom part of her hair, where the extensions are, are a little lighter than the top of her head. Also her hair looks so thick at the top and thin on the bottom. It's like the texture is completely different. I'm guessing this is because Elle bleaches the crap out of her hair with all the highlights she gets. I'm sorry but I really dont think she is a natural blond like she says she is. Her roots are clearly a light to medium brown!

I hate how she uses her index finger to "casually" push her hair from her face. She acts like she's 13, even though she has the face of a 40 year old and the shoulders and jawline of a pro football player.

im starting to feel really bad for elle. we bash her so much and not just for her terrible morals of selling tweets and all the lies and cover ups and ditzy act. we're bashing her roots now, and her book choice (i love young adult lit too!) and her use of the word small, and her tutorials (after we asked her for more tutorials). i have roots. i dont mind. lots of people do. she probably was a blond once and its ok if her hair is really mousing brown now. its starting to feel sad to read these posts.

As much as I don't like Elle... I agree. You can tell that she's trying really hard to get us to like her again.

I think her hair actually looks prettier in curls. When I met her in their NYC meetup she had it long and curled and it looked super pretty. Blond hair usually looks better curled in comparison to dark hair. Curls also give her a little more volume. Straight hair looked kinda flat on her especially because she has a bigger face.
But I do miss her old makeup! She used to do such pretty looks in bright greens and purples and they looked SO pretty against her pale coloring. Look at her "How I got Rid of Acne" video, she looks so pretty!
Plus she didn't use foundation to cover her freckles back then, and she looks a lot prettier with freckles.
But now, all she does is the same neural eyes or "neutral color pop" which I honestly think looks child-ish and not very cute.

I agree too. I do think she had good intentions once upon a time but her lust for money and greed has turned her into the grinch. I don't want to sound cliché going on about the 'old Elle', but I really wonder what goes through her head when she records and uploads videos now.

Agreed. Why not a hair styling tutorial? An intricate face framing braid or some up-do. Something besides the same part and curls of a sort, it's rather boring.

Elles hair is boring, she only cares about make up really. Even though she goes about spending so much on haircare products she never uses them.

i like how now she's leaving it straight in her newest video.
and she's said her natural hair is like wavy or curly or fizzy, whatever. and it really shows cuz when she straightens it, it has that straight poofy, straight haired look.

^^^mine does too! It sucks! It's frizzy and wavy and surprisingly textured for blonde hair, so when I straighten it (which I haven't for monthhssss) it's straight-ish but really poofy and extra frizzy. My hair is EXACTLY like Elle's.
I'd like to see her hair in it's natural state!

I agree with the poster who said Elle's extensions don't match. I know zero about hair. Zero. I was one of the ones fooled by Blair's. I've also been fooled by extensions in real life on various people. Elle's are low quality and don't match her hair. You'd think with the 1,500 per tweet she's getting, girlfriend would get a better set. Even when she had real hair, I'm going back a year or two, curls never suited her. Her face looks worse with them. Someone told me this about hair. I don't know if it's true, but I'm going to post it here. "People with straight hair (naturally) usually DON'T look good with curls, but people with curly hair (naturally) usually look good with straight hair." I've always heard straight hair (this was from a stylist) often suits many face shapes and straight hair is more pleasing to most people's eyes.

She mentioned removing her extensions recently, I believe. Around the same time, Blair tweeted about it too. It's kind of sad actually, how they do everything together. Isn't Elle like 22? I don't know any 22yrs old who lives with a younger sibling, personally.
